Invitation from PSANZ 2011 congress chairs
On behalf of the local organising committee it is our pleasure to invite you to the 15th Annual Congress of the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand – PSANZ 2011,
PSANZ 2011 will be held from Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 April 2011 at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart, Tasmania. All professionals from the full breadth of disciplines involved in perinatal care and research, from Australia, New Zealand, and beyond, are warmly welcomed to PSANZ 2011. We aim to continue the high standards set by past PSANZ congresses, in providing a stimulating and welcoming environment for the sharing of scientific knowledge and clinical expertise. The theme for this congress is 42° South - innovation & inspiration in perinatal care. Hence, we aim to focus on innovative and inspirational advancements in the full range of disciplines striving to improve perinatal care.
Delegates will be able to experience the wonders of spectacular southern Tasmania and the beautiful harbour city of Hobart. The conference venue is adjacent to Hobart’s historic waterfront precinct with its restaurants, cafes, art galleries and craft shops within short walking distance. A visit to Salamanca Place is always rewarding, particularly on Saturdays when its famous outdoor market is held. After the congress, Hobart is the perfect base to explore Southern Tasmania. Embark on a river cruise from Watermans Dock, join a winery tour to superb cool-climate vineyards, or take a short drive to the pinnacle of Mount Wellington for panoramic views of the city and beyond.
If you would like to participate in this congress as a sponsor or exhibitor, please contact the congress managers.
The fundamental objective of PSANZ is to foster communication between health professionals, and to advance the practice and understanding of perinatology. Our annual congress is the primary forum for this communication.
We look forward to seeing you in Hobart in 2011!
